First Lady Yolanda T. Lee was born and reared in New Orleans, LA and is the youngest of seven children. She was educated in the New Orleans public school system and furthered her education at Loyola University in New Orleans, LA where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Marketing. She has also pursued studies at Georgia State University towards a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management.
First Lady Lee’s love for education has inspired her to spend most of her professional career helping to prepare young people for successful college careers, and for life beyond college. Her work in this area began while she was a college student. She served many years as a Tutor Counselor for the Upward Bound Program at Loyola University in New Orleans, LA.
First Lady Lee thoroughly enjoys her work in supporting her husband in ministry. She has given leadership to the Women’s Ministry, Couple’s Ministry and Sister-to-Sister, the care system for the women of Berean. She serves on the executive board for A Word for the Times, Inc. also known as Kerwin B. Lee Ministries. First Lady has done missions work in South Africa and in Uganda. She speaks at Women’s Conferences, Married Couples Retreats and Leadership Conferences.
She is happily married to Kerwin B. Lee, Senior Pastor of the Berean Christian Church in Stone Mountain, GA and is the proud mother of two teenage sons, Kerwin II and Kernard.
