First Lady Yolanda Lee

First Lady Yolanda T. Lee was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and is the youngest of seven children. She was educated in the New Orleans public school system and furthered her education at Loyola University in New Orleans, LA where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Marketing and holds a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Luther Rice College & Seminary.

First Lady Lee’s love for education has inspired her to spend the early part of her professional career helping to prepare young people for successful college careers, and for life beyond college. She has worked as a counselor, advisor and Assistant Dean at Emory University, Oxford College of Emory University and Georgia Institute of Technology. Her background and experience in education also afforded her the opportunity to serve as an advisor for the Berean Christian Academy and is currently a member of the Board of Trustees at Luther Rice College and Seminary. She is also an officer and active member of A Word for the Times, Inc., also known as Kerwin B. Lee Ministries.

First Lady Lee thoroughly enjoys her work in supporting her husband in ministry at all three of the Berean Christian Church locations. Throughout the years she has given leadership to various areas at the Berean Christian Church. She currently oversees the Berean Women’s Ministry in planning all major fellowships, activities, and events. She also speaks at Women’s Conferences, Retreats, Married Couples Seminars and Leadership Workshops.

First Lady Lee has a passion for travel and has been blessed to visit all seven continents. She has ministered to those domestically and internationally. She has traveled abroad extensively doing mission work with the Berean Outreach Ministry, Compassion International and World Vision to the countries of South Africa, Eswatini (Swaziland), Liberia, Ethiopia, Uganda, Columbia, and El Salvador, Ghana, and Zimbabwe.

She is the proud wife of Dr. Kerwin B. Lee and the loving mother of two fine young men, Kerwin II and Kernard and the doting grandmother of little Ms. Amelia.
